Add your phone number

Open FINDERR and enter your phone number on the dashboard. This is the number displayed on your emergency lockscreen when someone finds your phone.

Why it matters: Without a phone number, a finder has no way to call you. This one field is the difference between getting your phone back and losing it forever.

Add an alert contact

Enter a phone number for someone who can be reached if you're unreachable. A partner, family member, or close friend.

Why it matters: If the finder calls your number and you don't pick up, they need a second person to try. Two numbers double your recovery chances.

Test it right now

Tap "Activate Emergency Mode" on the dashboard. Lock your phone. Check your lockscreen — you should see your name, phone number, and a QR code. That's what a finder sees.

Why it matters: If you've never seen it work, you won't trust it when it counts. One test, 10 seconds, and you'll know your phone is recoverable.

Deactivate. You're protected.

Tap "Deactivate" on the dashboard. Your regular lockscreen comes back. FINDERR is now on standby — activate it anytime from the web dashboard if you lose your phone.

Test your QR code

While emergency mode is active, scan the QR code on your lockscreen with another phone (or a friend's phone).

1. Activate emergency mode from the FINDERR dashboard

2. Lock your phone

3. Use another device to scan the QR code on your lockscreen

4. You'll see a contact page with your name and phone number — that's exactly what a finder sees

5. Deactivate when done. Your lockscreen goes back to normal.

The QR links to your personal /found page. When emergency mode is off, the page shows nothing — your info is only visible during an active emergency.

What happens when someone finds your phone

They pick up your locked phone and see your contact info on the lockscreen

They call the number shown — it's your number or your alert contact's

Or they scan the QR code, which opens your contact page in their browser

You arrange the return. You get your phone back. Done.
