Data Deletion Request
Your Privacy Rights: Under GDPR and other data protection laws, you have the right to request deletion of your personal data. We respect your privacy and will process your request promptly.
What Data Will Be Deleted?
When you request data deletion, we will permanently remove:
- Account Information: Your name, email address, and account credentials
- Social Media Connections: OAuth tokens and connected account information
- Content Data: Scheduled posts, drafts, and content templates you created
- Usage Analytics: Your activity logs and usage statistics
- Payment Information: Billing history (financial records retained per legal requirements)
- Communication History: Support tickets and correspondence
What Happens After Deletion?
Important: Data deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Please ensure you have exported any data you wish to keep before proceeding.
After your deletion request is processed:
- Your account will be permanently closed
- You will lose access to all services and features
- Scheduled posts will be cancelled
- Social media connections will be revoked
- Your subscription will be cancelled (no refund for unused time)
- You will receive a confirmation email when deletion is complete
Data Retention Requirements
We may retain certain data for legal or operational purposes:
- Financial Records: Retained for 7 years for tax and accounting purposes
- Legal Obligations: Data subject to legal holds or ongoing investigations
- Aggregated Analytics: Anonymous, non-identifiable usage statistics
- Backup Systems: Data in backups will be deleted within 90 days
How to Request Data Deletion
Option 1: Self-Service Account Deletion
If you have an active account, you can delete your data directly:
- Log in to your UNTRAPD Automation Hub account
- Go to Account Settings → Privacy & Security
- Click "Delete My Account"
- Confirm your identity and follow the prompts
- Your data will be deleted within 30 days
Option 2: Email Request
If you cannot access your account, send an email to:
Data Deletion Email: privacy@untrapd.com
Subject Line: "Data Deletion Request - [Your Email]"
Include in your email:
- Your full name
- Email address associated with your account
- Any social media accounts you connected
- Reason for deletion (optional)
Send Deletion Request Email
Option 3: Facebook App Data Deletion
If you connected your Facebook/Instagram account through our app:
- Go to Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites
- Find "UNTRAPD Hub Social Automation"
- Click "Remove" to revoke access
- Follow the prompts to request data deletion
- We will receive the deletion request automatically
Processing Timeline
- Acknowledgment: Within 48 hours of request
- Identity Verification: We may need to verify your identity (1-3 days)
- Data Deletion: Completed within 30 days of verified request
- Confirmation: You will receive email confirmation when complete
- Backup Deletion: Data removed from backups within 90 days
Verification Process
To protect your privacy, we may need to verify your identity before processing deletion:
- Confirmation code sent to your registered email
- Answer to security questions
- Recent account activity verification
- Government-issued ID (for high-security accounts only)
Alternative Options
Before deleting your data, consider these alternatives:
- Export Your Data: Download your data before deletion
- Account Suspension: Temporarily deactivate instead of permanent deletion
- Privacy Settings: Adjust what data we collect and use
- Disconnect Specific Services: Remove only certain social media connections
