Call the restaurant NOW
The staff almost certainly found your phone while clearing the table. Call and describe where you were sitting and when.
Go back in person if nearby
If you're still close, walk back immédiately. The waiter who served you may remember you.
Locate it remotely
Check google.com/android/find or icloud.com/find to confirm it's still at the restaurant. You can make it ring — but if the restaurant is noisy, the finder may not hear it.
Check social media
Someone may have posted about finding a phone. Search the restaurant's name in local lost & found groups.
Good News: Restaurants are one of the easiest places to recover a lost phone. Most are found by staff during table clearing and held for the owner.
