Urgent — The Next 15 Minutes
Tell the gate agent BEFORE leaving the gate area
If you're still at the gate, tell an agent immédiately. They may be able to send someone back onto the plane.
Call the airline's customer service
Report the lost phone with your flight number, seat number, and phone description. Airlines have formal lost item procedures.
Go to the airline's baggage/service desk
At the airport, find the airline's service counter. They can check if the cleaning crew found your phone.
File an online report
Most airlines have lost item forms on their website. Include: flight number, date, seat, phone description, and your contact details.
Good News: Airlines typically check planes between flights. Phones found during cleaning are held at the arrival airport for 30-90 days.
Next Time, Be Prepared
If your phone had FINDERR, the next passenger in your seat (or the cleaning crew) could have scanned the QR code and contacted you from the tarmac.
