Hotels have formal lost & found procedures. Call and give your name, room number, and describe the phone. They'll check the room.
Locate it remotely
Use google.com/android/find or icloud.com/find to confirm it's still at the hotel. You can display a message on the screen — but remember, a locked phone with no contact info gives the finder nothing to work with.
If you already checked out
Call the hotel and ask to be connected to housekeeping. They may have already found it during room turnover.
Request they hold it securely
Ask the hotel to store it in their safe. If you can't return in person, ask about their shipping policy — many hotels will mail lost items.
Good News: Hotels have the highest phone recovery rate of any venue — over 85%. Most phones are found during room turnover and returned within 48 hours.
