Airports are massive but they have dedicated lost property offices. Act now.

⏰ Time is critical. Follow these steps now.

Urgent — The Next 15 Minutes

1

Locate it remotely

Go to google.com/android/find or icloud.com/find to check its location. If it's still at the airport, you may be able to go back for it — as long as you haven't passed security or customs.

2

Call the airport's lost property

Search '[airport name] lost and found' for the direct number. Major airports have online forms too.

3

Contact the airline

If you left it on the plane, call your airline's customer service. They check planes between flights and have a lost item system.

4

File an online report

Most major airports have web forms for lost items. Include: description, date, time, terminal, gate/area, and your contact details.

Good News: Over 250,000 phones are lost at US airports annually. Recovery rates vary from 30-70% depending on how quickly they're reported.

Next Time, Be Prepared

If your phone had FINDERR, whoever found it at the gate could have scanned the QR code and contacted you — even while you were still in the terminal.

Don't Let This Happen Again

FINDERR puts your emergency contact info and a scannable QR code on your lockscreen. Next time someone finds your phone, they can reach you in seconds.
